Location Information

Maytime Inn

The Maytime Inn This is a lovely, authentic Cotswold stone building snuggled into the quiet country village of Asthall.

This tiny hamlet, once the home of the Romans, nestles deep in the Windrush Valley in the heart of the Cotswolds by the historical town of Burford.

Directions from Oxford

From the Wolvercote roundabout (junction of A44 and A40), take the A40 in the direction of Cheltenham and Witney. Continue on the A40 for approximately 14 miles to the roundabout at the western end of the Witney bypass (end of the dual carriageway).

Take the second exit signposted Minster Lovell/B4074/Asthall. Almost immediately, around 100 yards, turn left signposted Asthall.

After half a mile or so, fork right where the sign indicates Swinbrook to the left and the Maytime Inn (brown sign) on the right. Continue down the narrow road until you reach the village green (triangle). The Maytime Inn is ahead.
